FAQ – Document storage
Learn more about storing or linking attachments, whether photos or documents, and the associated limitations.
We enforce a limit on the size of uploaded images and documents. This is necessary for technical reasons and to ensure proper performance on all devices. It may be adjusted from time to time, but is currently set at 6 MB for photos and 10 MB for documents (PDF or other formats). If you experience issues uploading your images and documents, try compressing them further before uploading.
The free plan allows you to store 100 MB of documents, provided you have created a profile. You can increase your available storage space to 1 GB or more by subscribing. See our pricing page for details.
Go to the subscription page in your profile. A chart will show you how much storage space is being used by your documents.
As an alternative to uploading an attachment, Ready4Sea also allows you to simply link your documents stored elsewhere. All you have to do is paste the corresponding link. Your document will remain stored where you usually keep it, while being accessible in Ready4Sea with just one click. What’s more, this solution does not count towards your storage space usage!
