FAQ – Equipment

Equipment is the sub-level of your units. Each unit can contain hardware, gear or devices of different brands that are fairly separate from the unit itself. Examples include appliances in a house or the engine on a boat. We call these items equipment, and you can manage them specifically within your unit. Your unit’s maintenance plan and logbook will be an aggregation of the maintenance plans and logbooks for each piece of equipment.

For certain types of units, Ready4Sea can recommend a list of commonly used equipment. By using the Suggested equipment feature, you can add multiple pieces of equipment at once. This allows you to speed up the initial setup of your unit.
